you can tap the MAF input signal at the ECU, or the MAF output signal at the Pro (green wire)

Can the Meth controller use a MAP signal instead?

it's a pentium (pentium "1" I assume )

So I better pass on that one. What is recommended?

I don't want to spend anymore than I have to,
I do want something sufficient though, that doesn't require any adapters.

What do you suggest for processer, ram, space, operating system?
I'm hoping to find a capable Panasonic Toughbook. I think one of those could double as a jackstand if you know what I mean. Besides being extremely durable, they are loaded with ports (ie, don't need a serial to usb adapter)
I downloaded the manual from your fullthrottle forum, all it says is "windows based pc"
could you expound?

Hey Bob,
I was having issues with knock at partial throttle accel. when I had a 12.5 afr. You told me to put in race gas, so I found some 100 octane, and after my fuel light turned on, I drove around for a while and put in 6.26 gallons for 35 bucks (whoa thats pricey!). I've been driving with it for about 10 miles and am still getting the knock. So that's good! Mean's phantom I assume. I'm going to continue to make sure I am able to get the knock counts with this gas to assure myself it is phantom, but as of now, problem fixed...

Sorry Bob, I meant there is an unaccounted for dip in AFR at idle without the gas pedal being depressed. The car is sitting there idling, and then the AFRs go all over the place and never really settle down.

No worries, the customer is loving the car at the moment, this is just annoying.

My car has a similar issue. My car idles around 900 rpms, and after sitting for about 10 seconds, the rpm's drop a little and afr goes a little lean, and it just gets worse after that, to the point that it drops to about 500 rpm's and goes way lean. Very annoying.

I heard we could raise the idle rpm's to 1000, but I don't recal my car having this issue a month ago. What can be done? (oh, and pt tracking is taking about 8% away at idle too)

My car started something this year. The flex section in the downpipe must be leaking now. As my idle afr is showing leaner that it should.

Any of you guys have your wideband in the converter test pipe? (like me....)

Mine sits about 6 inches past merger of the two pipes out of the engine. I don't think I have an exhaust leak anywhere. I just had my exhaust redone not too long ago. They would have noticed, and it's not any louder

Question Re: ---===The Official MAFT-Pro Thread===---

Hi, just a quick question - does the current MAFT PRO have an input to pull the timing for nitrous use? I'm trying to decide what's best for nitrous; a MP, or standalone (although I don't fancy spending months trying to set up an AEM or OMEX!)

We just removed the narrowband sensor and replaced it with the AEM one.
