You need to connect the Baro signal and the air temp signal to the ECU, and an air temp sensor to the Pro.

Bob, I've been struggling with half throttle acceleration for over a week now. I've tried changing bst enrich, map enrich, and tps enrich. I've gone from all low and mid tune values at 0 to about 9%, with various configurations of the bst/tps/map enrich. I can't seem to get rid of knock when I accelerate moderately. When I get on the gas at roughly half the speed of stomping on it (hard to quantify) I tend to get knock. Its frustrating, because there are times when it happens and doesn't happen, but that depends on how quickly I get on it, be it 40% or 60% of a stomp-like acceleration. It's generally fine for 100% throttle and stomping on it.

I can tune it to have stock like (or better) feel for soft accelerations of the throttle pedal, and I even threw bst enrich up to 80 and it took care of my low acceleration problem, but at WOT after shifting my car would bog. Thusly, I turned that back to around 30, which is also where the tps enrich is, and map enrich feels best between 03 and 24 (best at 03, but needs to be at 24 to reduce knock and still feel ok). Do these values sound like they're in the ballpark? My afr always seems like it's between 11 and 12.5 for any accelerations, be it light or heavy (which sucks for gas milage). This knock mostly occurs in 1st gear, and 2nd if i give it more gas, but it's hard to do in any gear after that.

Please help

I can't keep track of everyones combo, so forgive me.

Knock in low gear but not in high sounds more like phantom knock.

What injectors again?

You running timing control?

fuel pump hotwire, relay bypass?

Add octane (real octane, not octane booster) and retest

Wish we could consolidate the info in this thread. Its so huge. Anyways, is there a list of tuners or shops throughout the states that are very familar with the MAFT Pro?

I completely understand that there's alot of clutter in here, my appologies for not restating my setup. Stock injectors, hotwired walboro, not controlling timing, pump gas. All of this happens around 0 psi (not sure if it's just above or below). I considered it being phantom knock, except I would hate to take the chance of it not being that. What controls moderate accelerations? I know tune response can be good to control for little changes in the tps, but where does the low/mid tune come into play, if at all, with my issue. And, how can I lean out my half throttle acceleration afr because it tends to be a little richer than my WOT afr.
Thanks

O.k. got PT 880cc injectors number on them is #13316 one of them that I can see anyway probably not a size identifier. Main scale set to
-50%, but according to the fuel injector scale I should start around -59%. Car won't run above -50. In order to get the idle to hover very closely to 14.7 I have to crank the low 400rpm and 800rpm into the 20's, and the 1200rpm at 40 before it idles at 14.7. Does this seem a little excessive? I've got a wideband to tune on, damn datalogger went poop. If I try to tune the main scale down below -46, the the car is pig rich the minute the gas is pushed.

Bob, as another sidenote, I don't think it's phantom knock because it didn't do that with the stock tune.

stock fuel pressure regulator? Fuel pump resistor bypassed?

How much richer?

Moderate accel (like 0 - 1 psi) is the mid page, you can tune with that.

So, add octane and see if it goes away.

Or try retarding the CAS and see if removing a few degrees makes it go away.

So you are getting knock (well, knock counts on the logger) at light/mid throttle accel, with the mixture safely rich? What boost? What timing is showing on your logger?
