Is there any adjustment to help prevent stalling when coming down from high rpm with a lightened flywheel and vented blow off valve?

I think that I have read it somewhere in here, but so many damn pages I can't find it again. What did you guys do when you had the problem of the maft pro jumping lean randomly? Its not so much of a problem in most gears but first or second and it causes some nice jerking, runs lean then jumps over rich real quick. Seems to be a little worse in slight decel. Maft is running fine, just need to get these bugs worked out.

Also when you set it to idle at whatever say 14.7 how much does it drift or does it stay dead on. Same with cruise and lean cruise how much is the AFR fluctuating? I'm using an AEM wideband.

My idle is o.k. except its really rough if the engine is not warmed up for the first few minutes. I keep trying to add afterstart enrichment (at 9.0 now), but it still just wants to stay higher than an AFR of 17.5. How high are you guys having to set the afterstart enrichment? I'm running PTE 880cc injectors.

Also I'm using Version 4.85 if it makes a difference from 4.8

Bob,

Im running maftpro w/SD on 15g's with 550's, when i let off the throttle with it still in gear i get a lot of popping/backfiring and my wideband goes all the way lean(which it should). It doesnt do this at idle or accelleration, just decel with it in gear and my foot off the pedal. What do i need to adjust to fix this?

Here's the adl file of my boost log. What should I change?

Also, yesterday I went out and tuned for no knock. Today when I was driving, I saw lots of knock. It was much cooler yesterday than today. Do I really need to worry about a 15 degree fluctuation in temp for a good tune? I live in the midwest and that happens daily

My old car used to pop a little on decel with 550's. I'm not really sure.

What kind of 550's?

Bob

I have not tuned injectors that big in a 3S. If you are using PT tracking, then tune everything to the rich side, and let the tracking pull 5-10% all the time (or more in lean cruise).

The latest versions have adjustable enable delay for PT tracking. (4.89)

what boost? what octane? what AFR? what intercoolers? what turbos? ......

Generally, no. If you tune "on the edge" then you will always have to watch it...
To me, on the street, a good tune is a safe tune.

As of right now, boosting 16 psi with 93 octane, and afr target of about 11.7, on stock turbos with a pretty good sized greddy fmic. I don't think 16 pounds should be out of the range of reason with stock turbos and a fmic.

I went to a shop yesterday and the guy saw that my fuel pressure regulator adjustment was loose, but to figure that out, he spun it, so maybe he changed my fuel pressure, which I could definitely see causing knock
