Right, I have a problem with mine now. The AFR on the AEM UEGO I have reads 13.8 at idle (warm) and the MAFT Pro is seeing 14.7. I have the config set to 5v AEM Gauge which should be right, but I am still seeing this offset. Any ideas?
Also, I see a slightly unstable revs, and so AFR at idle. The TPS seems to vary from 0.64 to 0.65, and even dropped to 0.56. Is the TPS shot? And what would I see if the CAS was shot?

Measure the voltage between the purple and orange wires and compare to the O2 voltage reading on the Pro. Make sure your connections are solid and the plugs are inserted into the Pro properly. Bob

The side with the nipple all by itself goes to the wastegates. (thru the T) The side with the exhaust muffler (little gold thingy) goes to the Y pipe. |

I just ran my GTO through a pro Dyno and got 480 BHP out of her running 17 psi out of 13T's and a MAFT Pro controlling.
Power is good but mid range torque sucks!! The lads pulled up a dyno curve for me for a second GTO with a pretty much similar power, but this has a torque curve that blows me away, particularly up to 4500 rpm.I think one of the problems is my ignition setup - I think I can run much more aggressively below the point where my boost builds, but right now, my settings are all pretty flat all the way through the rev range. Current settings on my MAFT PRO are: Tune load point mid :100.1, load point high 143. Timing monitor base 0, monitor correction 1.27. Spark WOT is 19 degrees all the way to 5000 rpm, reducing to 18 deg at 5500 rpm. Spark Aux stays at 19 across the whole rev range. Any chance of sharing a good bin file - or at least some timing settings so I can have a good look at the differences. This is really bugging me!!!! |

what software rev?
Have you connected the timing control wiring? What is your vehicle select set to? Timing on a 3S is set with +/- degrees from the ECU programming, so I think you are configured wrong. Post the dyno curves. Hp and tq and their respective RPM's. Boost curves. Post any datalogs you might have. Bob |

OK 1 by 1
Vehicle select is set to 02 XDF file says tunerpro4800 Don't know if the timing control wiring is connected or not. Ashamed to say I had someone install in for me.....but they've done them before. Have a PLX wideband wired in too - gauge matches pretty well what the MAFT is saying so I think they got that bit right. Will get the dyno curve uploaded ASAP |
