Should I have them both connected to a power source and control the on/off with a switch? Will that work fine?

i have 1 question..i have maft pro on speed density, boost controller it comes with for like the extra 20 and im running stage 2 meth with safeinjection. i was wondering if i would need the wastegate solenoid for the safe injection. i sent a question out to snows forums and they said:

"It depends on how your boost control system operates. If you have a boost controller that can bleed off boost by giving it a 12V signal, you don't need anything - the Safe Injection will do that when it detects a problem.

If your factory boost controller will lower boost if it loses power (stops getting a 12V signal), you need the #30200 Normally Closed Relay.

If you aren't sure of those, or those won't work, then you can use the Wategate Solenoid #30100 on any setup"

now i dont want to sound liek dick, but i havent installed the maft pro and i was wondering if the boost controller can bleed off boost with the 12v or i would need to get the wastegate solenoid

I haven't tried it, but one idea would be to set the aux trigger up as a negative trigger, i.e. 12 v would turn it off.

Then set your aux boost up as the high boost. If the alky system wants to turn the boost off, it will apply 12 volts to the aux input switching OFF the aux boost setting.

This sounds like the best option to me. Also switches to your low boost tune when that aux is hot, if you took the time to make one.

What would cause my entire tune to go rich? I had the car running perfect and then the other day my idle was running at a cf of -10.3 (the most I can ever seem to get it to remove) and was still running rich. At cruise, I used to be able to get the cruise at 16:1 at lean cruise, now it is pulling -20 and barely getting to 14.7. What should I be looking for? I didn't touch a damn thing on the car. Is this my wonderful 98 ecu causing me grief?

Go thru all the sensors on the sensor display page and write down what they read. let me know.

Its most likely a sensor signal.

So I've gotten my tune to the point where it drives pretty well but I've been reading up on how the trims work and I want to go back through my tune and adjust to have the trims respond better. Going through my logs I've realized that my O2 trim and Low/Mid/Hi Fuel trims never budge from 100%. How would the ECU even calculate O2 trim if the O2 sensors are disconnected and thus how would I ever be able to adjust the fuel trims? Is it just going to sit at 100% due to the lack of O2 sensors? Thanks.
