Keep up the good work Bob. I have to say while the early version was a little shaky, by version 4.65 the Maft-pro was doing excellent. After using an AFC and an ARC2, to compare, the Maft is so much better. I'm liking it for a piggie back. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks for the work and support you put into the product. Its greatly appreciated.

Excitable at high speeds

I'm going to get the maft pro in 1-2 weeks. I want to run speed density and control my boost. I've been told that what I need for this is the maft pro, IAT, and the 3 bar map. Is there anything else? Is the IAT the same as the air temp sensor for 13 ish bucks on the full throttle website? Thanks.

Bob,
Is there enough memory on the pro to possibly have it hold several tunes? It would be nice to have an option screen with 2 or 3 tunes (one for low boost on pump, higher boost on pump and high boost on race gas) and not have to break out the laptop. It would be wonderful to switch between the tunes and it would change all settings including VE tables, low, mid, high settings and things like WOT tracking. I know you have 2 ve tables now but it would be nice to just change 1 thing and the entire tune would change. |

Stealthystu, the IAT is the temp sensor on fullthrottle. Also, if it will control boost, you need the boost solenoid and harness too.

You need to be able to select which tune as well as "save as" so you can create one base tune and save it into all the selections. Handling it from the laptop using tunerpro would be reasonably straightforward. Work out your base tune, save it in the laptop. Then re-upload it into the other selections. In the current version, you can have the aux input trigger a different boost level, different WOT tune, different AFR target, and different spark advance. So having 2 "tunes" is straightforward. But, lets keep discussing it....... I can add it to the wish list for version 5. B |

Just an idea Bob, forget the save-as feature and make it so you can only tune [with the keypad] the file your running, then if you change to the next tune [just like the change to VE table is now] you are then saving to THAT tune only. Keep it simple, like Tune 1, Tune 2, ect. That way you actually tune via the laptop, but just change between them with the keypad. I suck at explaining it via words. It just SEEMS really easy from my non-program-writing mind, just adds one menu option that looks like the VE table selection thingamabobber.

I like this idea, only thing would be that I would want to be told at all times which tune I was on in every screen which will suck up valuable realestate on the display. |
