Sorta been out of the loop on this over the winter. Now that it's warming up and the car's about ready to come out I want to try to get this up and running.

Now I know there's a new stable version out but is there documentation for it? I know when I updated to 4.6 the documentation I had was completely different and made it more difficult to get everything setup. Any other big advances I'm missing?

Terry

I feel like an idiot but how did some of you guys fit the boost control harness through the firewall (my grommet above the pedals is pretty much maxed out, only room for the wires, no connectors)? The connectors are HUGE. Anyone know the trick to taking the pins out of the Molex connector that goes into the pro? Thanks.

I had that issue when trying to pull the PnP Speed Density harness through. I just started cutting on the grommett. Then I lubed it up with some water based KY and it pulled through.

Only other things I could think of would be trying to pull the wires out from the connector. Cut the wires and splice them back together, or cut them and use spade connectors once you pull them through.

There is another access on the passenger side to run wires through the fire wall.

Quick question!

Running a 1993 GTO TT. Walbro fuel pump with hotwire,550 injectors, 13T turbos and a MAFT pro running in speed density.

Do I need to upgrade the FPR?
Will the standard FPR ruin my tune?

Thanks

Mark

You may find that the hot wired Walbro will overpower the standard FPR, leading to erratic pressure, and hence variances in your fuelling.

Bob, are there any user manual updates due for version 4.80?

And also, am I right in thinking that it's safe for me to lower my base fuel pressure below 43psi to raise my low IDC's?

Thanks,
Steve
