And so it will be seen in the datalogger. Does the Pro calculate like the ECU so performance is the same?

To the best of our knowledge of how the ECU works, yes.

The unknowns are:
Start-up, warmup, and WOT fueling vs air temp
Spark advance changes vs airtemp
Other issues with EGR and other subsystems.

Generally, all these issues do not noticably affect the operation of the car. It may even be a better way to run it. I don't have any precise back-to-back testing data. But when i switched back and forth it ran basically the same.

Bob

Thanks for the adcice on the MAP sensor. I replaced the sensor which solved my problems. The car ran pretty well.

I have since replace the stock 360 injectors with 550's. All i changed was the mainscale to -35%. I now have a fluctuating idle poblem. While stood still in the car, if I command an RPM with the accelerator, I get fluctuations of 500 RPM or so. When I drive the car under load the problem is not evident. As of yet i do not have a wideband sensor , so can not give you any AFR readings at this time.

The car is fitted with 13T's do you have any approximate settings I should be setting up in the Boost page?

Regards
Mark

Do you have a datalogger? if you do what you your fuel trims (low med and hi)

If you don't have a datalogger, I can only suggest you stop here before going further without a wideband.

But, FYI, my car runs best with -27 mainscale with my 13T's, and removing fuel where nessessary. Just a quirk with my car I guess, but see if adding fuel helps you out.

um I have been running my car for the last year with just using hte low, mid, and high airflow corrections. I am running speed density. When everyone is refering to tweaking the VE table how do you do that?

I do have a datalogger but as you say I'm wasting my time until I get the wideband fitted. Then I should be able to do some serious tuning.

The car runs okay at the moment with virtually no knock with boost running @ 9 psi. I'll leave it like that until Monday

Me too, I'm lazy. You have to run Tuner-pro on a PC to edit the VE table.

To the other guy: use VE table #2.

Yeah, I played around with it and switched to VE #2. Where I noticed it the most was under vacum, seemed to keep the car from going to lean. I'm running TD05's and ported heads.
