Okay, thanks. I didn't get off work today until after all of the automotive shops closed, so I don't have a new set of spark plugs. I think my high flow fuel pump and hotwire is causing the sparkplug damage. Next is a new FPR.

Tommorow I'll have my 3rd set of sparkplugs in and I'll try this again.

Some of these sensor readings, I don't know what I'm looking for or what's odd. All I really truly understand is AFR. Anyways, my symptoms were, after doing as told in the manual for setup. like this...

crank crank crank, vroom, put....put, put...put, put,put....put...put....put....die

crank crank crank (step on the gas a bit) put...put...put...put...put...put...put

both cases, smoke EVERYWHERE. That's my story so far, I'll see if I can get a laptop log tommorow and send it to you or something like that.

post your key on readings for all the sensors on the sensor display page.

MP and MT are pretty important, as they control all the fuel delivery.

You do have an aftermarket boost gauge.......... right?

The stock boost gauge is controlled by the ECU based on airflow and RPM. Rescaling the airflow to compensate for the 680 injectors throws the stock boost gauge out the window.

My guess is that you are still at 6psi, but the stock gauge is reading ~0 there which makes sense.

What are the other mods?

Bob

The boost control solenoid plumbs in line with the boost signal coming from the Y pipe. Then unplug/disable the stock solenoid and you should be fine.

Fill me in on your solenoid install....

well i had a nexus boost guage but it died on me so i'm waiting on a new one from ipo so until then i am stuck with the stocker.

i did the vac reduction and got rid of all the solenoids and had an avc-r on the car before i got the pro. with the avc-r it boosted fine. i had the solenoid hooked up between the y-pipe and the wastegates just like the manual said.

when i installed the pro i pulled the avc-r out and put the solenoid in the same place hooked up the same way with the out side going to the turbos and the in side comming from the y pipe.

now that i know my stock guage is off more now and i'm prolly running 6 psi how do i turn it up? i tried playin with all the settings under boost control last night and it still was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW.

give me a call if you think it'd be easier to fix that way

ok im starting to have a few problems. my car doesnt like to idle when cold. it runs so rich and kills it self and fould my plugs. i have the correction at -43 for my 680cc's and its still leaned out more on the low load section. while cruiseing the car is perfect and while at wot but at a cold idle my car hates me

since you both have 680's the tuneups will wind up being similar.

Where did you tap in the MAP sensor?

you can probably take fuel out if the low load idle area and clean that up.

we discussed the settings last night. when you exceed the tps and rpm spool settings the solenoid DC goes to 100% to help the turbos spool.

Did you get the high boost solenoid or the "GM" solenoid?

The correct hose routing for the high boost solenoid is on the instructions. The Y-pipe plumbs to the side with the 'filter', the other side goes to the wastegates.
