Update from da smurf:
The 4.80 version is wonderful so far. I just used the ukspec bin file and haven't made any changes yet. As I said before I don't have boost and timing setup on the maft pro yet. Don't want to dig into that until I understand it more. I should be able to keep running the 4.8 without timing or boost control right? I'm only boosting a fairly safe 10psi until I get my wideband and can properly tune it. But overall much more responsive to throttle inputs. No longer wants to stall when I press the throttle. The power comes on strong and it seems like I just unlocked a beast in my engine. This has made me realize how shitty my previous setup really was. Sad... The maft pro along with my newly installed custom intercooler pipes and 97 body conversion has me grinning everytime I think about it. Thanks for listening! ![]()

hey guys i've got a question. way back when this thing first came out i bought it and loved it. my car however blew a pistons and has been setting for a long time. i've got a stealth now and i was wanting to put it on there and was wondering if there are any upgrades to the software cd that came with it, for 2 reasons. any upgrade is good and 2 i cant find the damn cd. or am i gonna have to buy a new cd from full throttle.

Not sure just yet what was changed. From what I read on the maft pro forums it is mostly the same as 4.65. Turbobob hasn't been forthcoming yet on what's in there or when the docs might be done.
Not sure how you missed it but ukspec on post 1796 page 180 has the 4.8 bin and his settings file he used for 550 injectors. I would just like to reiterate to all those using my setting file
only the low load is tuned, and its set for 550's and 14psi of boost personaly ive upped the gain to 10% in the boost section and reduced the PSI set to 12 and this made a big difference but im not pushing it until my miragecorp datalogger turns up (the xmas post is slowing it up me thinks). I dont want any of you going out like icarus, without ensuring that my settings dont lean out your cars, they are base settings only please ensure that you are carful when driving hard otherwise you may get burned..... regards peter

Yeah, does take a while. The only I need now to get me stuck into the tuning of this is an idea of what EVERY setting does. I also need more of an idea of the difference between PT Tracking and AFR Tracking as I am never sure which one is being used when.
