I reset the ECU, but now my idle is 15.8:1 or there abouts instead of a nice 14.7:1. I guess this is the stock ECU trying the idle. I have tried changing mainscale, afterstart and the low tunes, but nothing touches this number. I will wait and see if the ECU re-learns the correct settings.
So, to sort out my issue, would upgrading to 4.60/4.65 and reloading my settings sort this out? Or should I mess with the VE table in 4.40?

Your wideband value is really choppy. What kind is it and how is it connected?

Yea, I noticed the choppy WB values too. I thought maybe they were a product of the Rs value, but I guess not.. I have the LC-1. Its wired in the same way Jeremy's is. I actually used his car to make sure my wiring is correct at the NG.

I played with the timing wiring and that made no difference. I was able to make a small difference by pulling the timing on the CAS though. The problem also still goes away after 20 minutes of the car running.. If I let it idle for 20 minutes, it acts as if nothing is wrong at all.. which I don't quite understand.

ECU will NOT try and learn anything with the o2 sensors disconnected. YOU have to tune it now. If the mainscale doesnt immediatly change your AFR with PT tracking disabled, then you have a serious issue with your car. I would upgrade and NOT save your tune because something is wrong. and make sure you reset the Pro after the upgrade, then after you select the VE table #2, the only thing you need to change is the mainscale. Leave afterstart at 0 until your tuned.

Are your connections soldered and double checked? I'm going to say that your pro has a bad connection or is not hooked up right from the info I gathered so far.

Even when completely stock we go a bit rich when shifting or lifting, so I think it's the ECU's fault, even though most people blamed the BPV or the long intake/intercooler piping.
There is something like that in there already. Look in the response stuff for the TPS MAF limiter. I don't have it in front of me, but there is a TPS threshold, a plain limiter, and a limiter per 1000RPM. When the TPS is below the limit, the airflow signal is limited to the sum of the plain limit and the RPM based limit.

i.e. set the threshold to .9 volts. set the plain limit to 10 grams/sec. set the RPM based limit to 10 grams/kRPM. When TPS is under .9, the airflow will be limited to 20 grams at 1000 RPM, 30 grams at 2000 rpm, etc.

MAF hz is about grams/sec * 8, so 20 grams is about 160 hz if I remember correctly....

I put this feature in to experiment with for this issue...

Its in version 4.6x and later.

if the adjustments are not changing the tune, then the ECU is not using the airflow signal or the signal is not reaching the ECU.

Compare the FO signal on the Pro, to the MAF hz shown on the logger. When the ECU is ignoring the airflow signal, it calculates what it thinks the airflow should be and sends it to the logger. If there is no airflow signal, then the ECU will send 0 to the logger (if I remember correctly).

when trying to tune the idle, sometimes you have to rev it up a little and let it come back to idle.

Are you seeing and CEL's?

I tried upgrading to 4.65 and reset the MAFTPro, but the car would not run, and immediately cut out. Must have been something else I am missing. I will get a log done soon and post it. If I had two laptops, I could log from the ECU and MAFTPro. Wait, I have!

Done the upgrade to 4.65, but now I have a different problem! The car started hunting, and I had to add a load of fuel in the low tune and mainscale to get it to run. The acceleration problem has gone, but it really has a low end problem. I have added my bin, and I would have included a log, but I forgot to save it I really am having a blonde day.

And here is a log I did this morning. It does seem as the MAP increases I get the AF dropping to 10:1, so maybe MAP enrich is to high?
