There generic jumper harness is only $99 so I was going to get that and just make all the connections myself, but It would be worth a little extra to have it plug and play, less likely for a bad connection too.

I alos consider getting a SAFC or Emanage harness and just cutting the ends off and crimping on the MAFT pro connectors, the only thing I really gain is the nice colored wires and a few less crimps
I used the generic one and soldered and heat-shrinked all my connections. Took me 15 minutes. The plug and play harness would be neat, but then you can't size the harness for your install location so you end up with extra harness coiled someplace usually.

I emailed Boomslang last night and they got back to me today.

Boomslang can now make a plug and play MAFT pro harness but they don't have it on thier webpage yet, You just have to call them to order one.

I think I am just going to get a generic harness and make my own to get it the exact length I want

How much are they charging for the plug and play? And what would be left to connect after that? If anything.

I am having some problems, and if ANYONE can help me with either of these, please help!

Problem #1 idle/cruise problem

I rewired my Maftpro becuase I was having alot of problems, which replacing the wires helped out tremendiously at idle, not so much at cruise.

While driving down the interstate at about 70 mph, 2500 RPM, 1.4 TPS, 40-50 MAP It will drive fine at a fairly rich 13-14 AFR. Then the car will start to buck. I took a long log of this happening at cant find anything wrong with whats going other than the AFR droping to 17+ AFR when It happens.

I was looking at everything that was going on, and the ONLY thing I can find is the Transient Response seems to mimic the jump in AFR. Isn't TR supposed to stay at 0 ALL THE TIME? it stays at a steady 0.09 when everything is fine, and will jump to .30-1.00. I can't tell if the TR is causing the rising AFR, or vise versa though.

Anyone know what could be causing this, how to fix it, or if TR is even causing any problems? I have EVERYTHING soldered in place with silver solder, and electrical tape over the solder.

Problem #2 WOT Knock

When I go WOT first of all, TPS never hits 5.00, it only goes as high as 4.93 Is this a problem?

My AFR at WOT range from 10.5 - 11.5 and never go over 11.5. Base timing is pulled ALL the way. Knock sensor is new and torqued to spec. The boost spikes to 10 psi and drops to 8 psi. In the log in the run done today, The TR never jumped above 0.09, AFR never went above 11.5, Timing dropped from 50-ish to 33-ish (TMO log), and I hit 14-ish counts of knock for a sustained time until I let off the gas. Only thing that seems odd on this run is that VE CELL would jump between 0 and 131.

Now, I am fairly certain I have a few small pre-TB boost leaks. Could this cause Knock with a Map Sensor, and rich AFR's?

Thanks for any help!

~Richard

::EDIT::

Logs added. Wasnt sure what anyone would want to look at, So I have an xls file with all the raw data, and a few charts of the WOT pull. Also have the adl file shich this session is session 8.

For connecting the Timing wire, do I cut where the white wire is currently hooked up (RPM wire) or do I disconnect it and hook it up to the CAS wire and cut that one?

91-93 ECU
pin 101 = RPM
pin 69 = CAS

CAS wire. The tach wire will do nothing for timing.
