My car is at the point where this option would help out tremendously!

If you have the boost control harness all you need is some wire and the pin.

Was playing with lean cruise tonight....

My car runs smooth with the AFR at 17:1 on level ground, but it likes it around 16-16.5:1 when given appriciable load up hills (just under boost). No bucks even pegged lean. Nice.

Q: When letting up the gas slightly (also when lifting completely, but not in boost), I get a massive rich spike before injector's cut off. What setting affects this? Nothing I change seems to affect it.

describe 'massive'

some richness is due to tune and the VE table. some is due to the way the MAP sensor value drops, the pro calculates more airflow that the MAF would read.

There is some drop-throttle MAF signal limiting available in the Pro, if you want to mess with it. Get a logfile and look at where and when it happens and I will help you tune it.

16.2:1 is theoretically the optimum...... FWIW

That has more to do with me driving the snot out of it tuning and such. I more normal reading will happen this coming weekend when I head out of town.

Pegs past 10:1 for a moment or two (limit of gauge). Can't log until I get a CD-ROM drive for my laptop. Drivability seems unaffected, just something I noticed.

best to date was 26mpg which was a whole lot of highway, followed by a half dozen passes at the track (I figured that I was getting ~1mpg for 1.5 gallons of fuel), then to the gas station. The lowest I've got was 20mpg this entire summer. I also check the mileage on EVERY tank of gas, and average around 23mpg no matter what I do.

The last 1/2 of the summer was no O2's and using the part throttle AFR tracking.
