The only downfall to the fast-paced updates of new stuff from Bob is that the tuner-pro software can't keep up. Most everything else is in Tuner-pro, but the newest items are still not added.

As per bob as replied to at my post on www.fullthrottletech.com:

http://www.fullthrottletech.com/showthread.php?t=2180

"set vehicle select to 2, this enables the direct timing control.

Use the WOT timing page for adjustments. Timing control is enabled above 1000 RPM.

There are no other settings for timing.

4.65 is beta software, so there is no manual (yet....)"

Anyone but me think thats NOT a good idea?

WOT timing is one thing, forcing a set timing reguardless of load might not be the best idea, me thinks. Same timing for part throttle as WOT throttle = poor part throttle timing (retarded) and higher EGT's.

What I was hoping for was an adjustment from the factory timing: so I can retard 2 degrees at 5500 RPM, from whatever the stock ECU wants 5500 RPM's timing to be, which it changes from 35 BTDC to 22 BTDC in my car depending on load. Instead what I think the MAFT-Pro does is force 28 degrees (or whatever you set it at) no matter the load. Either that or I'm not getting these numbers on the MAft-pro right.....

on the 3S, when you set vehicle select to 2, you get to adjust timing from the factory setting. +5 to -10. There is no load threshold or anything yet, it is very much like an ITC, which is why we started there. We may add a load axis at some point, but wanted to get this stuff out on the street as soon as we could.

It works pretty well.

you have to adjust it on the Pro. The scaling is not right in tunerpro yet.

with version 4.63 and later, when vehicle select is 2, the WOT timing page will adjust from -10 to +5

I'm an idiot.

vehicle select was wrong because my MFI relay powers down too quickly, so I had it set to 0.

[edit]: Thanks Bob......GReddy ain't got shit on you guy's tech support!

Out of curiosity, with vehicle select at 2, how does the box save the data? Is it 3 secs after selection or upon shutdown like veh. 1?

same as 1.

3 sec after RPM=0. If the car is not running, then 3 sec after you make the change.
