the gain is how fast the unit will try to change the fueling to achieve the target AFR.

For part throttle, even with a gain of 15, the unit adjusts pretty slow. There is noticable lag in the AFR reading relative to the MAF signal at light throttle and idle, so we just adjust slowly.

what version ?

everything is either at www.fullthrottletech.com or www.bailey-eng.com

Was there a rundown somewhere of what all the timing adjustment settings mean? Also, is there some option that needs to be set to enable it, or if I just rewire as per instructions and turn on the car will it just work?

Apparently im being a complete moron about updating this thing, but i need help, and in a hurry..

I updated the pro to 4.65, then I reset the pro. updated the .ads/.xdf ... but how in the hell do i update the .bin file? I cant find any VE table #2. I cant change or even find idle TPS/RPM or lean delay or anything else. After 30 minutes of searching i cant find ANY .BIN file. im using tpro4400VE10IAT.bin file..

SOMEONE please help me. I have to go somewhere right now, but dont want to drive my car till i fix this.

ok, im using a usb-serial adapter because my laptop doesnt have any serial connection....

when i run the update program it just says something like "cannot find comm1" or something like that...

what should i do?

it sounds like you are trying to work with the tuner pro software. Just use the keypad on the pro itself and set all that stuff - it's much easier.

turn off anything that can use your port, like Palm hotsync. then try using the com2 or com3 files. Look in your device manager to know which com to use.

Yea, i finally figured that out. I couldnt find the ve table #2 stuff for a while though and i figured the other stuff would be available to change via the software.. I guess i was wrong.
