This is a feature that was added for the Supras, they were doing the documentation.......supposedly.

Anyway, connect the yellow wire to pin 11 (power transistor A)

The resistor you need to disconnect is shown in the attached pic

The F In Mode is set per the documentation, and the timing monitor will work. There are some settings to make it match your timing light or logger in the settings page.

According to the install diagram for the 3S, the yellow wire from the 10 pin connector goes to the MAF sensor vehicle harness side. Is there a seperate yellow wire you are talking about?

Also, what settings page do things need to be changed to make match your logger (Tuner Pro RT or on the pro itself)? Sorry for all the questions, you just have me all excited now. Also, is the FMode in supposed to be set to 22 for timing monitor for all 3S cars? And we just need to tap this yellow wire into pin 11 correct?

Yes, the MAF wire is going to be used to measure timing. You have to be running speed density for this to work.

There is a base and correction for the timing monitor in the settings page.
the Base us used to make the idle match up, and the correction is used to fix the high RPM. There is some interaction, but its not too tough.

All 3S cars set up the same.

So I should disconnect the yellow wire from the vehicle harness side, and tap into wire 11 (power transistor A). Should I disconnect the green wire that went to the ecu side of the MAF wire and reconnect the two ends together (just to keep the harness intact and not leave any hanging unconnected wires) or will this cause issues. Sorry for all the questions, I know what I am doing, just need to be absolutly sure when working on my Engine control system.

unhook the yellow wire, tape off the unused harness wire end.

Tap the yellow wire to the harness at pin 11

I just finished gettting it all setup. I'll draw up some instructions probably tomorrow to clarify things. One last question bob, what sort of adjustments should I be looking at needing to make on the settings page. I had to take my TMbase from -10 to about +0.7 and my TMCorrection to +0.71. This is just rough as my palm logger decided to freeze up while adjusing the TM correction.

instructions would be beautiful.
