Ok, I get ya. One last question, can you give me any suggestions on where I should be looking to help stalling problems with the car is cold and pushing in the clutch coming up to a light? I switched to a Tial BOV which vents to the atmosphere and now I have an occasional problem with the car stalling coming to a light when I push the clutch in when still rolling.

Its set 15%. It happens much more when cold, but will still happen on occasion when warm. I have increased my idle to 1050. I also have a lightened flywheel which complicates things even more.

Should still be tunable.....

My car would stall at idle once in a while, it was because the VE cells for coastdown (just to the right of idle) were too rich, and caused the O2 trim (STFT for you) to go WAY down. Then they would not come up fast enough to feed the engine at idle.

The new VE table (VE table #2) in the software is what I run now and it doesn't stall. I have a full weight flywheel, and lately I have been running open loop.....letting the part throttle tracking do most of the work....

Also, make sure the vaccuum hoses on the MAP sensor are not sucking shut....

I am able to put more than 5 degrees in the advance side, but for now, you should be able to add a few degrees with the CAS, and use the pro to retard timing. One step at a time....

Bob
So as it sits right now you can advance it more than 5 degrees? I was hoping for a little more control than just advancing the CAS (I can do that now).

For those of you using timing control right now, what sort of numbers are you pulling out at what RPM range? I think I am pulling way to much timing and just wanted to compare notes. I have a 98 so my pocketlogger is pretty much useless at 3 samples per second.

Bob, are we ever going to be able to read our timing advance using the Pro or TunerProRT. It looks like there is a place for it in the logging section but I just don't get any values.

The timing monitor works, you need to connect the yellow wire to one of the spark control outputs and set the configurations. There is a resistor inside the Pro that we disconnect for the Supras, which the 3S guys should probably disconnect also... It currently wont include your timing changes, but a future version will........

Can you go into further details? I would love to be able to read my timing since I can't read knock, I might be able to tell this way. What spark control output do I need to connect the yellow wire too, what configuration needs to be changed and disconnecting this resistor, is that something I can do or do I need to send my pro in to have it done?
