Ok I know where everyone puts the IAT sensor, but HOW did you put it there. My intercooler pipeing is farily thin aluminum, did anyone have any problem with it not catching thread, any other alternatives other than obviously the bad idea of the plenum.

Could you get a nut on the inside? I am not sure if that would work or not, just throwing out ideas. My Maft Pro is on the way and I will be running into the same issue i am sure.

Is anyone actually using the timing control yet? I am kinda afraid to use it on my 98/99 since we seem to have the bastard ECUs. I have an ITC and it seems to be working fine but I would love to be able to get down to just 1 device.

He is actually right, it is the correct way to do it. You can use a nut as the bung and have the nut welded in. I don't believe it wouldn't have to be aluminum to be welded onto aluminum.
With that being said, if the nut on the inside with an o-ring or some kind of sealant doesn't leak under boost/pressure test, then I don't see why that couldn't be tried first. |

I think my cars drunk...

you can just tap into the aluminum IC pipe itself, it doesnt matter if its thin, it'll be fine....
no need for a bung, as it is very difficult to weld thin aluminum and you'll probably end up ruining the IC pipe in the end....aluminum welds are never very pretty either....
