I was using the non r/t tunerpro to check out the VE maps and got an idea:
Hey Bob, I was wondering if there's a way to change the VE table scaling so instead of the table going to ~45 psi, to make it go to say 25 psi and have "finer" resolution (instead of 20 kpa between cells, say 10-15 kpa). Would that be a waste of time? I'm not planning on going to 40 psi just yet. [edit]: forgot I was looking at absolute numbers, not gauge pressures. question still stands, though.

I think I figured out how to do it, maybe.
So far I've been able to increase the table size and/or change the row values, but I don't know if the maft-pro will like it or not, since i don't have one to test on. I think the 13T's will hit a wall around 25 psi, but since I'm a pump kinda guy, 17-20 is where I'm thinking my map's gonna end. I right-clicked on VE table and selected edit item XDF info. then clicked rows, which allows me to change the stuff, but I don't know if this was actually works or not. [edit]: RPM scaling is also changed, so theoretically I can have a cell every 100 RPM if I wanted... |

Probably not gonna mess with this much till I get speed density up and running but I've got a couple questions...
1. I've got your overclocked ECU that goes to 8400rpms...the maft-pro only goes to 7600. Anyway to change that? 2. How hard will it be to get more than 5 degrees of timing advancement? I know right now I'm gonna want to advance it more than that. Terry |

I'm curious..
It's been a known quirk of the v2.x boxes to have way different baselines in blow-through mode than draw-through. Having to set injector save way lower than indicated.. How does the MAFT-Pro act? With 660's, am I going to have to set it to 500's just to keep from knocking? Who else is running big injectors here and what do you have your baseline set to? |
