Will the MAFT-Pro come with the extra wire if I buy the kit....or is that an at-cost add-on?

eventually it will be an extra cost add-on (probably pretty cheap though......)

But for now, get on my friends list......

Just wanted to make sure that you already got my address. I sent you a PM the first time you mentioned sending out the wire. If not I can send you my address again. Thanks.

Bob,

If you are doing AFR control on part throttle by using a wideband instead of the factory O2's, what happens with bank to bank fuelling? Do you use two widebands? Factory fuels by front and rear trims, no so sure if treating both banks the same off of a single wideband in the Y pipe would be good.

Thanks for the hard work on the 3S platform! I'm sure glad places like yours that do a lot of development, own these cars! I've been holding off purchase trying to decide between Maft pro and emanage ultimate. This seals the deal, especially with new features like part throttle AFR control via wideband in the works!

One other question: When using the built in boost control, is there a way to quickly switch between a high and low setting?

There are lots of cars that use 1 O2 sensor for 2 banks of cylinders (my GN is an example). Until you get to 1 sensor per cylinder you always have a compromise on AFR per cylinder....

It works just fine.

I am still messing with response times and such, but the basic function works well.

There is an aux boost setting, so connect a switch to the purple aux wire.

Generally, you will turn on the CEL whenever you unplug the stock O2's.

On the older cars, it takes a few days driving to do it. Otherwise it drives fine.

There was a rumor that driveability would go to crap. That rumor was never proven, everyone that tried it had good results.

The CEL can be disabled by removing the bulb........ or disconnecting the wire at the ECU...... I'm working on something "trickier", but its not ready yet.

I can't tell you about the OBD-II cars, but I can tell you my 95 doesn't mind the absense of O2's. I drive to the NG getting somewhere near 26mpg, ran a decent time for a FWD TT, and then drove home getting a little north of 22mpg (damn A/C kills mileage). Removing the O2's actually makes part throttle and cruisng easier to tune since I'm not fighting fuel trims anymore.
