Grab a log and let me see it.

What are the other response settings?

ok bob i got it sorted out. i am now running .9 for boost enrich and it seems to run great. Does that value seem too high? Can you edit your VE table through the handheld unit or do I need to access it through a laptop? Are there any more recent VE tables that work well for the 3S?

I am running RC550 injectors, mainscale is -30. Up top I pull another 10% on the airflow signal. So i net aroud -40%. For some reason I cannot get my fuel trim high to get unlocked from 81%. Any ideas?

Where can I see the fuel trims? Don't see it in the software anyplace?

Took it out on the street today to do some tuning. Added some fuel since it was running a bit lean..10 across the board. Now the A/F doesn't even display when I let off the gas (not even on my narrowband gauge) and it's now idling between 12.4 and 13.4...I didn't touch the mainscale...only the high throttle AF tune.

Also, it runs lean to around 4500-5000rpms then pegs rich to the low 10's.

So yeah...I'm starting to get fed up with this. Any ideas on what can be wrong? Anyone else running this in AFC mode? Starting to think I should just give up and go with the emanage.

High trim adjusts very slowly, but leaving it at 81 is fine.

The VE table is only accessible thru the laptop at the moment.

I posted a file on this thread.

AFC mode is equivalent to the Emanage stuff, so I would think you would have the same issue. It seems that your fuel trims are working against you at the moment. The trims can be seen on a logger.

I would reset the Pro to all zeros in the tune pages, and set the mainscale to 10% rich or so. then reset the ECU and see what you get.

I can't use a logger since I have your overclocked ECU (would need the scanmaster which I don't have). I'm assuming the DRB (chrysler scan tool) won't work either?

The tune pages were set to 0 and the ECU has been reset a few times. The idle still isn't constant.

Trying to get this running before the NG and I'm running out of time...I really appreciate the help and want to get it figured out (especially if you come out with timing within the next couple of days) but if not I'm gonna have to throw the SAFC back in there and just use that. Have way to many other things to mess with to be spending a week figuring this out.

For now, why not put the ECU back to stock. Then your tune should go back to where you started...... Then get things under control.

The timing control (the retard stuff) is ready for testing, I need to get it put in the car.

Leave the VE table.

With larger injectors you want to remove fuel..... do it with the mainscale initially to get things close, then fine tune from there.

oh!! cuz i have maniscale set at -35 with my 550 and at idle with ur ve table it did nothing. like 18-20a/f ratio. so what i should do is adjust mainscale to get a good solid idle af, then add or subtract fuel from your VE table accordingly?

ok so i used your VE table i had and i adjusted mainscale to get a solid 14.9-15.0 af. so with 550cc im currently running -29% mainscale. so now while i drive i can tweak the VE table by adding or subtracting bits of fuel here and there on VE table correct?

I had some occaisional bucking, but the plug wires are about shot...

so im thinking about pulling the 02's and then dailing in the tune again. have you seen any negative feedback from this? i'd love to get 25mpg at 16.2, but dont want to ruin my daily driving by not having o2s in.

also is it hard to dail in the tune without 02's i heard that the idle and cruise needs lots of attention to maintin at a constant value.
