Pretty sure I didnt' set the v-outs to that...is that in the instructions? A quick setup for the AFC mode would probably be helpful.

I'll just solder the wires tomorrow. I was gonna do that anyways but I soldering gun I had at the time sucked and I didn't really want to mess with it. I'm gonna borrow my dad's cordless one tomorrow and go at it though, shouldn't be that big of a deal and it'll rule out any connection problems.

Terry
Those are undocumented settings, because the standard installations don't need them...... The instructions are already very cluttered.....I suppose I should put them in there somewhere...

Quick setup for AFC mode: set F out mode to 0........ (thats it....)

I bought a butane soldering iron last week, kinda cool.....

Used to run a -7% on mainscale trying to get the car to run right, and always stalled.

I'm running 0% now, and minus a problem with cold morning starts, my car hasn't ran this good since it was NA. I've getting the best mpg I have in 2 years and more power than anytime in the past.

It was an honest mistake though and he apologized. Got to give him credit for that.

I'm absoutely ecstatic with my setup right now. Since the 4.6 upgrade my car has been getting around 24mpg with me regularly...ahem... liberating the throttle. I've got to the point that my controller is tucked under the radio with my LC-1 controller, and I only have the serial connectors coming out of the center console behind the passenger seat for messing with it. Just a few small tweaks here and there and I should be done.

And I haven't soldered a thing.

On a trip to Kentucky this week in the GN (as aerodynamic as a bus), I got 25mpg at 70mph with the A/C on (heavily loaded with MAFT Gen-II's for the Buick Nationals). Running 16.2:1 AFR........

Gotta get that lean cruise stuff implemented soon.......

i think you could get away with 15.8-16.0:1 on the 3/s without it bucking that would be pretty sweet
