Default O2 reading 6.X on AEM???

Hello, I am having some weird things happening with my logging of my car. When I'm watching my car run using my laptop AEM program, I see my AFR reading something like 6-7. Obviously if I were running that rich, my car wouldn't actually be running or at least would run extreemly poorly. But it is running. I have a AEM UEGO single O2 sensor with gauge. It allows me to see what my AFR is at the same time my car is logging. When I'm looking at my AFR at the gauge, I see what would be a normal AFR for a given condition. When just keeping speed, my AFR on the gauge says anywhere from 15.x to 16.x. But while I'm seeing that on the gauge, my laptop is seeing it say I'm running 6 or 7 AFR. Anybody got an idea whats wrong? If you think you can help, I will send you a copy of some logs I did tonight, and a copy of my engine managment map. I wish I knew what was going on. I only wish my old laptop was working when I got my car running again. I have a slight feelin my issue is the update in the AEM software being the issue. I know for a fact that when I got this computer and installed the latest AEM software, it was reading load in inches of mercury instead of psi like I used to read. So it obviously was set up on some sort of default. Also the first time I connected to my car with this newest version of the AEM program, it took a minute to download the file from the car which is normal, but then it updated it to the latest version of AEM. Anyway, before this novel gets too long, I hope somebody can help. Lemme know if you want a copy of my AEM map for my car and the logs I took the other night. I'll email them to you right away.

Rico

mod list is...

AEM ECU
AEM WB02 sensor with gauge
AEM air temp sensor
GM map sensor. I forget if it is 3.0 or 3.5 bar. I would have to look again.
Typhoon boost controller
FMIC
walbro 255lph hotwired
no cats, after market dp.

I'm still runnin stock injectors and turbos for now. Those will be changed after my wife and son come home to the states. Till then they are my priority, not more mods.

Send me a PM with an email address and I'll send you my map and logs I made while driving.

Thanks to anybody who can help.

Default Re: O2 reading 6.X on AEM???

hello man ,

Have you try to change the A/F ratio to gasoline?

Go to configure --> unit --> AFR units and take AFR gasoline --> apply --> ok

Sometime you can have a little bug and try again but :Go to configure --> unit --> AFR units and take AFR gasoline --> apply --> AFR units --> Lambda --> apply --> AFR gasoline and ok to finish and test!

Hope that you help you!

Yeah I just got it figured out a minute ago. somebody on there posted up to check it, and I said I already checked it. It was set at gasoline, but then he/she sent me a link that said to basically switch it to something else, and then press apply, and then switch it back to gasoline and press apply, and it worked. So the problem is solved. I was actually just coming here to delete this thread since my issue is solved, but I will delete it later I guess just in case somebody else is confused about their aem too.

so yeah he/she basically said exactly what you said. Glad my issue is solved. Now to work on tuning it again. Tired of only getting about 8-9 psi boost. But the good news is I'm still producing enough power break loose all wheels when I launch. Scared the crap out of a friends girlfriend and sister last night. so fun.
