A few days ago, I was toying with the 4gms/sec tune by adding up to 15%.. at idle it seemed to raise the rpms a bit.. seemed to be struggling a bit down around 500rpm, by adding the 15% it went up to about 800-900 rpm and seemed a bit more stable.. that didnt last long of course though.

Now in addition to that problem with just cruising, Im getting those real hard jerky take offs in each gear, if I try to take off slow and easy, I get that problem where its going up and down pretty nasty, but if I pressure just a lil bit more on the gas, it kicks in hard, kinda sucks for daily driving in really crappy traffic.. mind you i dont mind taking off fast sometimes and blowin everybody away

Get some datalogs and post them up. I think your trims are out of tune.

No, I'm actually running the stock MAS through the stock tubing. I need to invest in a scanmaster or something as I have no way to log anything. I do have a CEL that comes on after the engine gets above like 3000rpm.. it clears everytime the car starts but comes back on, so that also is another reason I need to invest in a scanmaster as it is a 93..

Right now I have my mainscale set to about -5, and my low tunes @ ~800 rpm set around -5 and my mid tunes ~1200-2000rpm set around -5 as well... and then I have my heavy tune around ~3000rpm to about -7 or something, just trying to get some good numbers to avoid fuel cut and still trying to get a smooth idle.. It seems to run pretty well at WOT, so thats not too much of an issue, but still has troubles idling, today it actually had stalled idling almost immediately after a 3rd gear heavy WOT pull...

Try unplugging the O2 sensors, and resetting the ecu. Then just tune for AFR.

How exactly should I tune the high, mid, low tunes? I have 450s and 16t turbos like I said, I zero'd out the mainscale and the afterstart, zerod out the MAF Gm/sec settings (all of them lol)

When you set values per rpm in each of the high, mid, low tunes.. do they all add up together to make the overall rich/lean mixture? or do each rpm act on their own to combine with the other high/mid/low tunes.. ie if I have 400rpm and 600rpm in the low tune set to ~-5.0 does that equal -10 for low tune? + whatever mid and high are? or is that -5 altogether for the low tune..

thanks a bunch.. still learning all this stuff..

I factory reset the Translator and am just running mainscale -20.0 and nothing else.. with 3000GT sensor in/out, 6cyl, 3.0 displacement of course.. figured I would get it back to normal and then maybe I can learn the tricks of the RPM tuning..

Also, once I go blow-through, how will I set that up in the translator?

You're running blind without having the ability to log....especially AFR (WB).
Sounds like you need an LC-1 wideband, and logger (Cable, Palm, MMCD software is going to be the cheapest usually).....get that up and running then you can tune it....cant do it without tools....
