I can only imagine it's because it sounds like you have some pretty
custom (bastardized) shit going on....not sure if I even know what questions to ask you, lol...
Are you using a SOHC ECU?

What do you mean bastardized? It isnt any different than any other car that didnt come factory turbo. It has factory sohc ecu. All wires hook up in the same location on the sohc and dohc, other than the rpm wire.

One thing I want to know now is will the Gen II work right with the rpm not working on it. I cant seem to get it working on it like I did the AFC NEO. I would think it wouldnt be able to do anything right if it didnt know what rpm its at.

I am going to mess with it more tomarrow, so hopefully I can figure it out.

I've just never seen a SOHC listed in the literature, I figured there must be a reason...but I see your point.
As far as the tach signal, I would surely think it's a requirement to get it working correctly!

There is nothing for the sohc, but i know it should work right if i could figure out how to get a rpm signal to the Gen II.

Ok gentlemen i have a few issues that came up ever since i got the 13T's,550's installed and a vacuum reduction done. My car idles now at 1100rpm most of the time and when i cruise in nuetral to a stop light my idle goes up and down between 1500 and 1100. Is there any way to tune it out. My setup is in my sig.

Another issue is when i start it up it idles smooth (@1100) then a few seconds later the idle dips for a second then it rises to 1100 again where its starts popping and seems like miss firing. I have NO vacuum leaks and i tried to adjust my idle with the screw ontop of the throttle. The reason i think the maft Gen2 might have something to do with it is that one day i forgot to plug the 3.5 sensor back in after changing my regulator and started it up. I idled right where it's supposed to be at 750ish. I found some loose grounds and managed to adjust the idle down a 100 rpm. Is it that its blowthru? I have brand new IK27 iridium spark plugs and again No vacuum leaks(spent a whole saturday looking for any.

You know come to think of it the gaskets on the ends of the injectors looked pretty rough could that be causing the issue ?. They seemed so loose I never thought they were any type of tight seal. I have a vac reduction as well the air comes out so fast it wont hold 15psi for more than a second when I pressure test. The car did overheat a long time ago before the rebuild I am hoping that there are no issues there. What do I need to tune to fix the PCV issue
Any help is most appreciated

Not sure on the sohc rpm signal, but certainly there is a tach signal somewhere in the harness.... Perhaps Jeff Lucius' site can be of help.

At any rate, it should run fine without an RPM input.

Turbo Bob -
I had a question for ya - when we experience large temperature
changes (it was 30 degrees here this morning) should we be changing
the value that modifies the air temp? Or should it always be left in the
75 degree range? What are the implications of either?
Thanks!
