Ah I thought he was referring to the MAFT v2.x. My bad. The website will still help.

I wonder if it works well for blow through setups

It does.

The issue with blow thru is that the MAF calibration is changed due to the non-laminar/turbulent flow. Additionally, PCV must be run "open" which leans out the idle and part throttle tune. So you have to tune/tweak a little more.

The Gen-II has a lot of flexibility to tune odd MAF combinations and as such is better for blow-thru applications than the original MAFT.

TurboBoB,
Finally got this installed and running, and had a few questions I was hoping you could help with:
1) WB (LC1 ) scaling: I am using MMCD 1.8G, and have it scaled according to that....Gen 2 shows significantly richer....can I get them to match?
2) In config page, option for LS1 "aluminum" exists...does this refer to the metal body Vs. the plastic body types?
3) V1 and V2 out....do these need to be set to a certain voltage? I assume somewhere close to what is in the manual for voltage specs per operating conditions? How do they adjust after that?? I tried to adjust and didnt see any change on the logger, but the car was not running...(?)
4) PLEASE explain the MAF tuning aspect Vs. User Tune...I am totally lost on that one....are they used together?? Or indepentant of each other? If together, is there a better explaination of the parameters, and how to set them?? Take that back -- even if independent, is there a better explaination somewhere??

Thanks much!!

what scaling is MMCd and your LC1 set for? The Gen-2 is expecting the scaling to be "normal" for an LC1.

yes

set the v out mode for "setpoint" and tune V out 1 for 2.5V and V out 2 for 3.8V, These are "false signals" for the intake air and Barometric inputs

the load based tuning is usually used when the GEN-2 is being used to compensate for oversized injectors. the MAF based tuning is simpler and works well when tuning with the stock injectors.

Otherwise, use whichever you wish (or both...)

MMCD scales at (from Clint's thread):
"Scaling for AFR input - Changed in 1.6N
Old 0-5V = 10.0 - 20.0 AFR
New 0-5V = 8.0 - 22.0 AFR "
So my LC1 is set for 0-5V = 8.0 - 22.0 to work with the MMCD 1.8G...not
sure what the LC1 is out of the box(?).....is there a scaling feature in Gen2 (almost looks like there is because of a screen called "WB correction"?) or do I need to revert to another version of MMCD, or choose one or the other (MMCD or Gen2)??

Would this explain the (3) CELs I have for intake temp, barometer, and Airflow?

possibly, for the air temp and baro. Not for airflow, that should work without CEL's.

I am running a Gen-2 at the moment on my car, without any CEL's. So you should have none.
