I have done a lot of searching, and can't really dig anything up on this
unit....anyone using one? Post experiences, observations, problems, etc... Looks like a great product on paper, just having a hard time finding any info from people actually using one......

I JUST put this in on Friday. The guys gave me a basic tune based on the settings I got from turboBob, but I'm running really rich on WOT. Haven't really had a chance to tune it, but the AFR tracking seems to hold my erratic idle steady for the most part (my 99 ecu keeps messing with the settings)
I think I'm going to have to get that BRAT translator.....or a first gen ECU.

I know at least in the DSM world when using MAFT it is highly recommended to use a secondary controller like an SAFC for more fine tuning.

Used it on my stock injector'd VR4 forever with awesome results, no secondary controller, never had a single tuning issue. Ran amazing from day 1.
go to fullthrottletech.com, there's a forum there for specific MAFT tuning/issues.

Your correct, but we are discussing the MAFT Gen II, not the original MAFT, which requires no such double piggybacking, because the new unit is just that good...
