Default How to...

How do I get my palm to display my WB readings?

I have the AEM UEGO, and I have a palm515 with the MMCD software. I have shriver's (Chris) software, too.

I connected the white wire to the correct pin in the main ECU.

I am still not getting anything.

Please help.

you have to go to options and then to preferences.. change your EGRT to 'Wideband O2'. Now on the first page of options when you log you should have a WBO2 option and it should display in afr

For some reason I want to say that clint (cbatters) didn't have the scaling set for the AEM UEGO. If that's the case the reading isn't going to be right in MMCD. I know myself and a few others tried to get clint to post the source for the most recent MMCD, but I don't think he ever did.

I did that...I changed all the settings to see if I could get a reading, but nothing worked.

yellowgto--that could be it. Do you know if Shriver's software can read the UEGO?

Can anyone one confirm that MMCD does not register the UEGO readings?

Thanks,
T

I think it should still display a reading, they just wouldn't be correct. You're saying when you go to log there isn't anything displayed at all for EGRT? If my car weren't in pieces I'd go hook my UEGO into the egrt and see if it worked for you.

Not sure about shriver's software, I've never used anything other than MMCD

I do get a reading...it doesn't flucuate though...

I talked with Chris, and he said the Uego should work on his software so I will try that.

Thanks for the help though

Are you sure you hooked it up to the right wires?

Ground- metal bracket nearby your ECU/radio
Signal - EGTR Connector (blue/yellow )

this is from 1G Electronic Boost Data Logging
and a good thread on the ground wideband loggin on palm apps. setup question

I plan on doing this pretty soon but the only thing different I will be using is a cheap ebay datalogger cable instead of Shiver's cable and a Innovative lc-1 instead of the Uego. I'm pretty sure that the lc-1 will work since it has a 0-5v output wire but am iffy about my datalogger cable.

Hopefully someone could clear your question up since I will be going down this rather soon and thought it just involved a simple splice into two wires and then hit a few buttons on the palm.

Mike

I'm working on doing this now too. Trying to find the wire at the ECU.
