V1.14 firmware/software the timing number reports correctly. After v2.00+ there's a bug in the software which reports the timing number incorrectly for our cars. A user on here has notified Greddy with this bug so they are now aware of it, but Greddy is having a hard time locating a GTO vehicle in Japan. Supposedly they found one but the engine is broken and needs to be repaired first.

A while back I looked into the timing problem and noticed that if I added a fixed number it would report the correct timing number. I forget what the number was as I don't even look at timing on the emanage datalogs anymore. I prefer to look at knock instead.

where would i enter this fixed #. I also seem to have alot of noise in my knock what kind of values would represent true knock? is there some where i can input my noise value so that It will not show up on the log?

I think the number was something like 120, but can't recall. You add the number in your head. I measure knocksum and not knock voltage on my OBDI datalogger.

yeah, it drops 120 degrees on some 6 cyl cars and 180 degrees on some 4 cyl cars. adding that number to the crank ofset angle should be a big help. I wish I had thought of that earlier :-P. I have sent a few e-mails to Trust Japan and they still don' thave a test car and don't know when they will . Oh well. Looks like our cars are becoming less JDM Tyte by the minute
