Default Emange Ultimate 2 step and no lift shif??

I am trying to know if the emange ultimate can be used for 2 step and no lift shift. If so what's the best possible way of setting it up? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Get a stereo cable, cut the end off one end, hook it up to a clutch switch. Needs to have the contacts closed when pedal is down, open when pedal is up. Plug it into the switch input on the EMU.

Goto IGN tab on car setup
start RPM = rpm u want to launch at
ign cut rpm = rpm you wish to have the rev limiter at
ign adj set to -5 to -15
check adj box on start rpm

done.

Thanks a lot, sounds so easy,
The ign adj set (-5 to -15), what does that do? If I were to pick a number within that range, how will like affect the car? I pretty much like to know how changing those number will affect the car. If you don't mind what do you have yours set at and do you have a rebuild engine?
start RPM = ?
ign cut rpm = ?
ign adj set = ?

ummm thats how much your retarding the timing in order to build boost.
start small work your way up.

Mine set at;
4000
8500
-8

IDK yet for sure if im gonna run these settings on my new motor, But then again 3.5l is different from a 3.0l

Ok I have mine set at;
3500
7000
4000(rpm to up shift)
-5
throttle position at 50%
I have the stage 2 wiring
I also have fidanza came gears set at +1 on the intake and -3 on the exhaust if that makes a difference.

When I try to start, the RPM just jumps to 7000 then back close to zero. At one point the RPM was fluctuating between 4000 and 7000. What im I doing wrong? Do I have to get my RPM signal from a certain point other than in the stage two wiring?

Search function owns me. I read from

eManage Ultimate v2.16

I have to get the RPM signal from "Ignition input signal" in the parameter setting. So it's working, but I saw just about a 3 Ib boost build up. I will play around with the RPM and how much I retard my timing and see what comes out of it.

Ok a little help bro
I got mine working but I am having some little problems here and there.. I still gotta play with the switch location, and the IGN adjustment.
What does that "# of V.S pulse" on the IGN tap do and what do you have yours set at?

# of VS Pulse is for if you ARENT using the switch and want it to lower the rev limiter itself when your at a stop.

Set your #s like so.
5000
7300
4500
-10

See what that does.

You don't need the switch if you dont wanna use the upshift feature. I kinda advise against it.

Sorry bro im not gonna spoon feed every setting off my car to you. My car hasn't ran but for 24 hours in the past 2 years.

It's ok bro,
so you mean the switch that I have attached to the clutch pedal, I should take it off? So if I do that what will you say I set my values to.
Do I have to change the RPM input signal to the "ignition input signal" in the parameter setting as suggested from eManage Ultimate v2.16

Yes, that is what I would suggest personally.
