do i need to buy the E-manage Ultimate Harness Kit? it says if i've never installed the emanage blue, that i would need to have this kit. i was planning on getting the Boomslang harness for it.

You have three choices available for emanage ultimate.

1. Reuse the harness from blue emanage and buy the upgrade harness.
2. Full emanage ultimate harness (assumes you don't have any left over harnesses and are starting fresh).
3. Boomslang harness

If you decide to go with option 3, this takes you to stage 3 wiring immediately and also requires a greddy CEL adapter. At stage 3, I highly recommend a WB02 so you can tune your car at idle. Some people will go rich, some people will go lean depending on the injector lag time of the new injector. This may be overwhelming for newbies, and almost impossible without a WB02. However, stage 3 is where you eventually want to be at if you want to utilize all the cool features emanage ultimate offers.

If you go with option 2, it's cheaper than the boomslang harness and you're not rushed into stage 3 as you can take steps and learn the product. Stage 1 is closest to (SAFC style tuning) and that's where you' d begin.

thanks! i do intend on getting a WB02 for my car and will install it during my rebuild.


1. where can i get the greddy CEL adapter?

2. is it possible to get a baseline tune with the boomslang during my break-in period without much difficulty?

3. The boomslang has a few options and i was going to choose Knock and Air. Is that the right one to choose?

i plan on getting it dynotuned afterwards.

I have a speed density map made for 15G turbos and RC550 injectors (stage 2.5 wiring) you're welcome to use should you decide to use speed density.

Where can I find your map, it's exactly what I'm looking for. I'm running 550cc and 15G's, and finally going to SD in the next few weeks. I already collected airflow data, but it would be nice to compare it to yours.

What is the recommended version of the EMU software I should use? I just installed my EMU the other day so I haven't updated it yet. Is there a version that you all would suggest or should I just download the latest one?
