Are you still running v1.14? The only bug I'm aware of is the timing numbers reported in the datalogger screws up. The numbers will look normal and then suddenly it goes negative. If I add 120 to the number I get the correct timing numbers again. But this isn't important to me at all as I focus on AFR and knock instead.
A while back you were concerned the incorrect timing numbers produced in the datalog would screw with the timing maps. I can tell you they work independent of each other, so no worries about that one bug causing a problem elsewhere. I'm currently at v2.13 and enjoyed the improved dataloging scrolling with the arrow keys and all the other improvements made. When my car is put back together next week I'll upgrade to v2.16 and report back on my findings. |

I'm still running a really old version...the last one without the timing bug. Wonder if that's fixed yet.

I went on greddy's japan website and used a translator to dig this horrible translation. It looks like we missed some other updates in between too.

But no seriously, the last version I used was 2.13. Next time I work on a car with the EMU, I'll have to try this version.

I will try it tomorrow, even those release details suggest there's nothing new to our cars... Have been running v2.13 since it was released, with all the bugs in the ignition, rpm signal, launch control etc, plus many "just" annoying bugs. Even reported those to Greddy, but never got any reply.

i think they called our cars a seabass m16A which would be Z16A, maybe im wrong.
But ummmm, that does look like our problem that was fixed in 2.15.

Crank angle signal for RPM is still broken Launch control with RPM's as rpm signal is still broken Even all the misspellings are still there, looks like completely useless update once again. Trusts/Greddys support for the software in really a big joke. If had known that would have never bought the EMU ![]() |

The Crank Angle Sensor shows up noisy (see saw waveform) on the EMU for 3S cars. You might wanna swap CAM and CRANK signals and see if that makes the RPM waveform normal looking, as this fix worked on other car platforms that had a similar problem. Other cars have absolutely no problems using the Crank Angle sensor for a smooth RPM signal alternative.
The only spelling correction I spotted was "airflow output map". They still have "cancel" spelled incorrectly. Once upon a time ago I corrected all the greddy spelling mistakes and even formatted the spacing a little better by editing the e-manage2US.txt file. |

Anyway, makes it even stranger that they had found the bug and fixed it in one engine type, but didn't bother to check the other engine types for the same bug.. ![]() |
