ok heres what i think im going to do
base maps - free to annyone on 3si on other forums im going to have to charge maybe $15 since i dont have the dozens of maps i have for 3s's and that way you guys get a 3si discount tuning over the internet - need to find a way to make this fair, maybe $15 per map say you want your ign map fixed thats $15 fuel map is $15 nitrous $15 etc, a flat rate wouldnt be fair because someone might just need like 30 minutes worth of work and others may be hours from a decent tune to come to you and tune - $.75 a mile to travel plue $35 tuning per hour minumum 2 hours i think thats going to be the offer i start posting around forums unless anyone has any better ideas madmax you need to accept emails ill send you a basemap to get you started for free and if you want tuning after that i guess well go by these prices braincrater it seems like mehlos map would be pretty damn close to what you need if it doesnt work out well let me know ill send you another one |

Penguin, your original map has a couple places in O2 feedback that have a 17.0 value in cruise, probably meant to put 14.7, but missed it. There are also a couple cells in the fuel map, which don't follow the general trend of the rest of the map. I think it's just in boost, at around 3K or so, can't remember exactly. So if you're going to use this as a basemap for people, just a couple things to edit.
Oh also, thanks for the revision. I was still running lean under 3K in boost, but I'm working on fixing it. And cruise is being fixed too. But overall, it was a decent tune. I just need to get it perfect now, thanks for the help.

hey i must have given you a really old version of my map by accident cause none of the little things youve told me about have been in the most current version sorry if it caused you any trouble, transfering all my files kinda made me lose track of stuff..
i have just finished going through ALL my base maps and organizing, and labeling them consistantly so im ready to go on this |

it says sep 2nd, so I dunno. It's a few pages earlier, so dl that one and check it out
edit: I dl the one on page 33(maybe page 66ish if you don't have your view set to max posts per page), and it is in 2750rpm at -7psi and -4.93psi in the O2 feedback. I didn't look for the other things |

Okay, so I had my ECU burn up at the begining of summer and found it impossible to find another one that weekend, so I bought an AEM.
This is a dead stock 91 VR-4 with California emmissions. When I bought the car less than a year ago it had 45k verified miles. Well . . . it now has much more which leads me to say I have never had a car that was more fun. I have it set up pretty well. Getting about 20 to 24 mpg. However, I am sure Penguin in his ultimate wisdom and knowledge can make a small and petty underling bow to him in with unmatched gratitude for a cal for a dead stock machine. So here is the question. How is this car going to do on California emissions if I do the MAP and wideband O2 ? Now that I have found a stock ECU, should I plug that in when I need to get probed? |

doesnt cali do a visual inspection? i think having and aftermarket ecu is going to get you a failure regardless of how well tuned the car is. and if we can avoid bowing down to myself or anyone else in the future that would be cool too lol

and by bone stock do you mean your tuning to maf??? if so i wont be able to give you a basemap as i have never tuned a car with a maf sensor before, i could give you a map with everything but the fuel portion, you would be on your own for that
