Hey Matt,

That looks pretty slick. I may have to go that route as well.

Yeah, I wanted to avoid the "radar detector" look of the bracket that's shown on www.gauge-tech.com. Enough of my forward-looking window real-estate is taken up by my Valentine One, so I wanted to be able to have the suction cup for the mount be able to be behind the display where I couldn't see it from the driver's seat. So far this seems to work pretty well.

Now to make the serial cable black instead of beige....

I haven't driven around with the display mounted up like that. It might bounce up and down a bit since it is mounted on a rubber suction cup, but hopefully that won't be too bad. If it is, then I can use my shorter mount arm and hang it a bit more below the cup instead of straight out from it. Or the cup might stick well enough on the dash itself and use it like a stand.

More experimenting required to figure out the best way, but you get the idea.

Suppose to be EMS but I am sure it comes with both. I would suspect the diaphram would rip more than the spring would break. Just order one and find out.

Does anyone have a picture of their AEM MAP sensor installed?

I'm not really looking forward to removing my intake manifold and drill/tap a hole for the AEM MAP sensor. I wish there was an adapter that converted the 1/8th NPT to a nipple for easier installation.

Just "T" it off the vacumn reference on the back of the intake. You do not have to tap the intake.. infact it might even melt the MAP sensor if you do just from how hot the intake gets.

like lethal said.. you can just "T" off the back of the plenum... I'm actually still using the one that the boost controller uses.

I think FWombat suggested using the lower plenum tap as well. If you want a dedicated nipple.

There is an adapter sitting in the bin at your local hardware store. I had a tough time finding a direct npt to hose barb but you can get a female-female adapter for the hose barb anywhere...

Does a barb come with the AEM MAP sensor and we just need to put it in the lower intake ideally? If so any pics installed? Anything wrong with T'ing it off another vacuum line above?
