I know its difficult to read through the few "guides" that have been written by some people on here (hint hint), but if you do, it will confirm both of your questions.

There's a file called
"10-1311 for EMS - 30-1311.pdf" that will answer all wiring questions.
THANKS!!! LOL When I recieved my AEM that pdf file was printed and in the box.. EXCEPT for the last 2 pages . I kept wondering why the manual didn't have a complete pin out list??? Now that you helped me find it things should be much easier.

On the AEM UEGO single channel it has a 0-1 volt wire {white} and a 0-5 volt wire {orange} so should the wide band singnal going into pin 56 be a 0-5 volt signal?

Thanks again that really helped.

You want to use the 0-5V signal wire. The 0-1V is a simulated narrowband signal which is worthless once you've got a standalone.

Wow.. you were doing all this without the pinout information?

aemforums had it as a sticky on the 3000gt section... just fyi. but probably useless info now.

Its ALIVE!!! Well I cranked it up running the AEM tonight and drove it around the block a few times. Runs pretty good but I can tell it needs more tuning. The A/C isn't runing yet and the idle is about 1400 right now. But I'm happy it starts and drives.

Cool! Good to hear it. I know the feeling.
Now it is time to learn the AeM interface and understand where you do what adjusments.
My initial setup got me 14mpg. Now i am leaning up the fuel map at light loads trying to get 16-14.7afr upto 2 psi.
It would be usefull if somebody can behind the wheel and you can drive and adjust the AEM. I found it is possible to make tuning yourself based on the logs but just time consuming.
Post logs and cal.
