Pengulns2001

On the information that came with the AEM 3.5 Map sensor it has a few different Scaled Sensor Output

There is :
0-50psi
-14.7 to 35.3psi
0-345kPa

I assume I need to be using -14.7 to 35.3
Is the scale a choice in the software on the AEM EMS? And if it is do you remember if you pre-selected on the map you made for me? Thanks for your help. I'm sure more stupid question will follow. I've been wiring up the sensors and my water methanol system. I'll probally be cranking the car up this weekend.

Thanks for your help.

In AEM Pro:

Configure -> Units

Select "Load Units" in the pop-up menu, click on PSI and then Apply, OK. If I recall correctly, that's all you need to do. The sensor range should've been set when the MAP sensor was originally selected during the Setup of the map.

it's not scaled incorrectly though fastoldguy.

More of a preference thing... If you don't mind it being set at kPA then a rather direct translation is 100kpa=1bar.

On your laptop:

c:\program files\aem\aempro\instructions

There's a file called
"10-1311 for EMS - 30-1311.pdf" that will answer all wiring questions.
