over the weekend got IAT , AEM 3.5Bar , 2-UEGO WB, and AEM installed.
used 1311-MattStartupv1_680cc_2gencar_.V1.11.cal , adjusted to stock injectors and some other minor stuff. Car started first time. Cool stuff. Car idles ok, cycles a little +/- rpm but i am playing around to get a feel of different settings. After watching o2 reading i think i have a problem with AEM UEGO. Front bank shows 1AFR more then rear one. After installing UEGO i disconnected o2sensors and set the Gain to 0.98 and 0.96 to get 4.01V reading from both channels. After I got not equal reading of o2 sensors I removed them and run the car with o2sensors exposed to air. Front reading 18.41 and rear 17.9. Switching o2sensor produced the same results. Any other test i can run to determine if UEGO is functioning properly?

mine have always read 1 afr different, and had a gain of .80 im pretty sure i have a deffective controller but AEM avoids me about it, i can tune fine with them, i know my front bank one is accurate and the rear is exactly 1 AFR off, im kinda pissed about it but dont have money to buy another one

I made another test. I pluged front o2 sensor to channel #1 and and then #2. Run the car both time on idle for 5 min, and both showed 13.5 +/- 0.2 which tells me the controller and sensors ok. I'll plug the o2 sensors back and check the AFR again.
What exactly Idel vs Target does in IDLE menu? If 'Idle Learned Value' is 0 then my idle is cycling. then I pull the values UP and the 'Idle Learned Value' is -2 to -4 Idle stabilizes. |

I read the manual (now trying making sense out of it) . The problem is that there are 1000.0 post for AEM , 95% talking how good it is. 4% giving either incomplete or misleading information and only 1% is detailed and descriptive enough to be applied by new AEM user. Manual is like a refference to already knowledgable tuner...
Anyway, i understand 'Idle % vs Target' , it should be tuned to have 'learned value as 0'. I did but the Idle keep cycling +/- 50 rpm. I found the post "Set up idle via Rguzik's method", it is suggesting to tune the "learned value" to -5to -7 . I just changed the end point and recalculated the map and the IDLE simple stabalised. What I was wondering why ? There almost 0 post talking about tuning strategies, tips and procedures. Quote:

Without logs and cal files theres nothing that can be done besides guessing. You can email me with your cal file and logs and I can make some changes based on the logfiles and experience and send them back to you.
