IPW? right now that acronym is escaping me....so is there a calculation that i need to do with those parameters...as you might have guessed im just starting to get into this understanding how ECU's control the car stuff,

Haha no problem. All the acronyms can be confusing.

IPW is injector pulse width, in milliseconds. Essentially how long the injector is firing for.

So to find your true IDC, (IPW*RPM)/1200 = IDC.

beautiful, this whole tuning thing is a bit overwhelming, i am finally to the point where i want to get some new turbos and obviously i need some new injectors and fuel control to go with it, only question is do i want to try to control timing as well, all things considered i havent even attempted any fuel trimming yet and who knows if im even gonna be able to figure that out

This is accually not correct. The formula is but if you take what mmcd supplies for IPW and RPM then plunk them in the formula you get the same IDC that mmcd displays. It seems the IPW is inncorect on the logger.

At least this is what happened to me with 1.6n and 1.8g.

What are your power goals?

You could start with some dsm 450's and get the hang of tuning with smaller injectors that need no timing control than move on bigger. DSM injectors are cheap and might even be all you need.

Than after your more comfortable tuning move up to some evo 560's which are more than enough for most but will probably need some timing control.

Ah, he has a 91. IDC is incorrect and can be calculated in that fashion on the Miragecorp hybrid logger. If he's using MMCD I guess it'll be a non-issue.

Not to Highjack here..

I am trying to get this to work also on my HHH. how did you set up your User Defined options.. what is the formula and ID to get that to work?

I saw this somewhere when I was searching for "wideband logging" I beleave it was. Someone posted a step by step showing the formula and how to tweak it on the HHH. I think it had "HHH" in the title but I can't remember for sure.

I wish I could be more help.
