On my logs i am seeing knock voltage about 0.5 volts what is severe knock or to much knock?? I was told real knock was only over 1.5 or high anything less than that on the AEM is just noise, does anybody know what real knock is based on voltage on the AEM.

New project in the works

However any sharp spikes or inclines could be real knock. What is the current state of your tune? How much boost and ignition timing? What is your pick/delay comp and ignition sync at? The knock voltage and knock raw #1 should ramp up with a steady increase in rpm.

My car was tuned and is good, it made good power A/F's in the mid 11.3-11.6 timing is at 21 degrees at 7k boost is about 17 psi. I was just playin with the boost and watching knock but im only getting 0.5 max on the knock voltage, what is considered dangerous voltage ?? 1.75v - 2.25v???

Your knock volts is dependant on your knock cal table. If your knock control is on then the knock volts = knock raw - knock cal table. Have you made a knock cal specific to your engine? Is your knock control turned on?

Or 2 volts Knock Raw? And are you saying "Noise", Knock Raw should be under .75 volts? Cause noise would be noise without knock, and .75 volts noise (knock raw during knock cal runs no boost low timing) is a damn quiet engine. Quiter than any 3S I have done a knock cal on. Personally, and I know this leaves some power on the table (where is this damn table everyone leaves power on anyway?) I run the knock cal run, no boost low timing 93 pump. Add 20% even though I have seen 25% is allowed, make that my knock cal map, then when I seen ANY blips of Knock #1 volts I adjust the timing so the runs are dead quiet. Not one spec above the cal table. I know it's leaving power down but I play it safe.
