Default AEM 2-Step Q's

Hi guys,
I haven't played with this for some time, but want to play with it again.

These are the advanced settings I see (I use the anti-lag dialog as the straight 2-step doesn't build much boost)

So my questions are:
do I need to enable the alt ignition to have access to the alt settings (I assume so)
I read that -15 to -20 work well for the spark fixed
do i need to put in settings for the rest of the alt options?
do i then need to switch the alt function input to ON for the alt features to work?

TIA
