Default 10's for AFR during idle and cruise part 2

I have an AEM EMS, and AEM Wideband and major issues. Without changing anything I am currently at 10.x afr during cruise and idle and I am out of ideas for what is wrong.

I changed the wideband sensor - no change
I checked that the gauge is working - it read 14.7 with sensor unplugged (works fine)
I turned off O2 sensor feedback - no change
I leaned out the fuel map in the idle region in 3 increments of 10% out and 2 increments of 30% out. I didn't see any change until I took out 30% and it went to 11.5 afr, the second 30% I took out killed the engine
I reflashed the EMS (suggestion from the guys at AEM) - no change
I've tried every tune I had saved - no change

Please help me. Any idea is worth a shot.
