Hey, I am rather new to this forum joined back in May this year and I am finally fairly set financially and would like to start to get to know everyone. I try to read all the threads I can but I feel meeting in person will be way better.
Well to start I figured getting to know people closest to me first would be best. I live in Girard at Imperial Point and wonder if any of those who own 3S's that I spot are on this site. Seems like a lot of good guys on here.
And on another note, I am only mildly mechanically inclined. I have rebuilt an engine once in a cavalier and do all regular maintenance myself but there are a lot of things you guys talk about with these cars that I have no idea of so go easy on me lol.

Hey vince glad to see you post, i remember i talked to you when you just bought your 3/s and were still on active duty. Im glad to see you made it back safe and everything has worked out, i live in the pittsburgh area and unfortunately my car is currently dead but if you want to try to setup some kind of meet im always down for a bit of a drive to meet some new people!
Well thanks Tony it is great to be home no more random explosions keeping you awake through the night anymore from artillery and misc other things. You were the only one close to me that I talked to before while I was gone and yeah I would like to get some people together sometime, all depends on weather and if thats not in our favor and it snows then I guess it will be next spring for the cars but I will still travel a bit for a good time of cards or something.
Yeah Alex I didn't realize until you messaged me, lol not to many people around our area that are on the site.
Really before I left for Iraq I didnt do much but play games fix my diamante and shoot guns never really went to hang out with anyone so i figured i should change a bit and make some new friends. either you guys got girlfriends/wives? besides your cars that is.
Are you good with a handgun? When I turn 21 in June I'll be getting my concealed carry permit. Before then sometime I'd like someone with good training to help me get better with one. I've used revolvers quite a bit, and rifles/shotguns more than any one person ever should have, but I don't have a ton of experience with semi-autos.
Its time to step up your game, about time to make some of us swpa ppl travel a bit. lol
Lol im sure me and alex will do our best.
and yes alex I am fairly good with a handgun. speaking of my special order .45 acp combat pistol will be coming in sometime this week I hope and that will be a good replacement for my 9mm that is being fixed. If you were at least halfway decent with the revolver you will be fine with semi autos its the same thing pretty much except most of the time the autos are more accurate depending on caliber. do you have a specific place you like to shoot, where I live there is nowhere to go unless I go out to albion where my parents live.

I said I shot a bit with a revolver, never that I could hit jack shit with it
I've never went shooting up here in Erie. There has to be a range somewhere.
Ha ha well then I guess we could give it a shot when my pistol comes in I am just dying to shoot it. there is one on W rdge rd aka 26th st its a nice range not sure how much it is though, and if not there I usually drive about 30 minutes to where I usually go and its free
