Central PA Meet. - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

He everyone it's me again. I am just so excited I had to post. I want to start planning an event for this summer but I am looking for advice.

I plan to have it somewhere in the harrisburg area. (Probably right outside of harrisburg) So it's in the middle of the state and the fact it's pretty local for me. (That's a plus.) I would like to know what you guys and gals would like to see at one?

My thoughts were to have a meetup spot to, well meetup at, show off the cars and perhaps BS a bit. Even a bit of eating if need be.

At the meetup I thought of having a small parts trade, maybe even get some sponsors? (Very far away thought, but a thought none the less.) I have no thoughts on any contests if the meetup is big enough. But I do know a small cruise is in order no matter what.

So please, let me know what you think.

I'm new to planning events like this but I think I found a nice little bar and grille. It has a suitable parking lot and a very nice outside area to BS around. It's even near a nice little car wash and a tire and auto place.

Wish I had a planning veteran with me so I could figure out what the heck I am doing. But I am just going to "wing it".

Id go to anything. I'm in Maryland for the summer so i would have to see what I am doing then. The 3spa fb group might also might try and plan something dont know when they are going to do it though.

Look for the long thread about the meet that was going to be last spring. The initial plans sounded great and then something happened that the spot available to hang out at couldnt be done. It just kind of fell apart after that. That should give you good and bad ideas.

Just make it happen with enough advance notice so people cant wimp out from full calendars.

That's why I am starting now. I actually wan to talk to a manager or owner at the place of where I want to plan the meet at. See if what I would like to be done is okay to be done there.
