If the hotel is to expensive for you then don't come because you won't enjoy it. EVERYONE else that came last year had a blast and no one complained about the price of the hotel room given what you get for your money. We don't need someone ruining it for everyone else because you think it's too expensive.

Take the money and spend it on something worth while like painting your hood.

I was simply asking.... I never said I wasn't going to go to that hotel. Sounds more like you would ruin it for people getting pissed off so quick...

Another thing.... When I go to NEG it will be sporting a max of a 1mon. old Paint Job..... Thank you very much... and the price is me getting the paint/supplies and doing the prep work

Unless you want to give me the money to get the car painted professionally.

Hey I just tried to get the room and I was told that they were sold out a week ago but there are more rooms just not in the 3SNY Block. available at 139.99?
Is this true? What do I do and will I still get everything? I know why wait till the last day but I tried to bug the shit out of everyone but they were to damn lazy!

Honestly this event is well organized, and will have a great turn out. Complaining about the cost of the hotel and generally being negative does not help anyone, it is poor etiquette. If you can't afford it, sit it out silently or PM the event organizer for alternate accommodations..don't make a stink about the cost of the hotel publicly.

P.S. I won't donate $$$ to you, but I'd donate a new I have plenty of them

Your best bet is to PM Justin re: attendance and book a room at the regular rate. Split the room with your friends, it will make things easier and cheaper for you.

Event registration will be extended to Wensday, August 13th. If you do not register and pay your registration fees by August 13th you will not be included in any of the events. Registration Fees will still be $30.00 per registrant and $30.00 for each additional guest over 12 years of age. Once you sign in at the hotel you will recieve your ID card for the event, be given your voting sheet, itinerary, and will be refunded $10.00.

Your registration fees go towards paying the caterer and pays for the refreshments for all 3 days. Please keep in mind to be included in the raffle you must sign in on Friday and stay for all 3 days of the event.

The first post has been updated and please note the following ammendments:

* Registration extension
* Updated list of registrants
* We will not be a BBQ, we will be having the event catered.
* Itemized list of food to be served at car show.
* Changes to itinerary
* Information regarding changes due to weather.

I spoke with the manager of the hotel that is handling our event and they cannot extend the discounted rate of $119.00 past the agreed upon date (Aug. 1st). There are rooms available but they are on a first come first serve basis.

There is an option of pre-paying for your stay in full at a rate of $109.00 per night (this rate is subject to change). Please keep in mind that pre-paying in full means it is non-refundable, no matter what. Rates are currently $129.00 a night.

Registration for this event will be closed August 13th (NO EXCEPTIONS). If you have not registered or paid your registration fees you will not be included in the event.
