I have a 94 3000GT base up for sale with 105K on the clock.
The bad:
- Interior is non existent... this is a small project car. Everything you need to put it back together is INCLUDED WITH THE CAR. I took it apart a long time ago. I was laying down some new carpet, etc etc. The master cylinder was leaking and destroyed the carpet on the driver side due to brake fluid so that's why it was torn apart. Anyway... didn't like it and wanted to go back to stock as of recent. Charcoal carpet is in a box in the car. Both seats are included. Center console (recently purchased cause mine had broken tabs). There may be some small odds and ends to get it completely done but nothing major. In all honesty, it could be put back together in a weekend tops... but I've moved away and I am not near the car ever. Otherwise I would just do it.
- Had to saw the latch on the glove box to get it unstuck... never bought a new latch. Very cheap fix (less than $10) and only two screws to remove.
- Driver side door harness was mangled by the previous owner and I was in the middle of replacing the harness... never finished it due to the move. Wires are basically cut at the harness and the new harness needs to be soldered in place.
- Small exhaust leak at the clamped shut EGR tube on the rear manifold. A little JB weld will clear that up.
- Minor rust on the passenger side rear quarter. Some appears to extend under the sideskirt as well.
- No power steering. Drove it that way for 3 years without an issue. Never fixed it cause I liked the highway stability.
- 2nd gear synchro grinds. Double clutching allows it to go in smoothly though.
- Power locks and rear defroster have never worked for me. Not sure why. Could be an easy fix but I never cared to figure it out.
- Has lexan headlights... NOT glass as shown in the pics below. Headlights are in OK shape. Not the greatest.
The good:
- Click, click, start is installed due to the notorious no start issue. The last few months I drove it, the car started up fine for me.
- All new upper engine gaskets. Painted valve covers, polished plenum, open element intake, EGR removed.
- Custom glass radiator hose you can see the coolant flowing through. Had it for a few years. Does NOT and never has leaked.
- Brand new suspension AND alignment... less than 1K miles on it. KYB GR2 shocks/struts with Eibach lowering springs.
- Brand new rims/tires with less than 500 miles on them.
- Passenger side rear rotor/pads have less than 20 miles on them. I ran out of time and couldn't do the driver side but the rotor AND pads are literally in the trunk of the car ready to be installed.
- Aftermarket Koyo (I believe) radiator. Double the thickness of the stock radiator.
That's the main stuff. I'm asking $3000 for the car. No obo. The rims and suspension cost me about $2K anyway so I'd rather let the thing sit than let it go for nothing. Could make a great DD once the interior is put back together. The car could be parted out for well over $3000 if you wanted to... I just don't have the time.
As far as the trade... I really don't know. I will be looking for a winter car... possibly interested in an Escort or a Focus. Whatever you got, post up and I'll let you know.
I live 2 hours away from the car and setting up a meet time is kind of difficult to say the least. Just PM me if you're interested and I can make a trip down sometime.
Some of these pics are outdated. 2 things you should know... car does NOT have HID's or glass headlights. Black lexans are now on the car and stock bulbs.
