My first car was a 1978 Dodge Aspen (14 years ago). I sanded it down and primered it Gray. I loved it and just kept the car like that until I got rid of it. I bring this up because... Matte finish use to be called a Primer finish and only done on older muscle cars. It's funny that high-end Auto Industries are going to this now.

I understand that there is a difference in the actual paint jobs. But the looks of both are defined as being "dull in appearance". That is what I was pointing out.
