Then noob idiots pass the plague around to the new guys.
I called my 3kgt a 3si and got raped.

Oh, I thought it was another thread. I've been getting confused a lot lately.

The sun is not exploding, nor does it have more gravitational mass as compared to a man-made nuclear bomb.

Truly, these are great times for science.

From a guy in an STi: "Is that the AWD Special Edition"?

I also remember chasing an evo through some twisties once for a good 10 minutes, my blow off valve going off pretty much constantly. When we pull up to a red light the driver asks if it's turbo .

And I've had 2 people this week ask me if my car is a 4 cylinder...

Worst one was when I had my old eclipse. I was in the driveway installing my turbo (don't remeber why I had it off). The ricer that lived down the street was on his way home, stops in front of my house and asks me if it is turbo....WHILE I have the turbo and mani in hand! Then he asked if it was intercooled, I just so happened to be sitting next to the front of the car with a fmic that filled the the entire 99 eclipse bumper

This is an old story pulled off one of the first threads I ever posted on 3si.
Enjoy!

I pulled up to the reception hall where my sister's graduation party was and there was a very nice red 1992 Chevy Corvette parked in the lot. By the entrance to the door, were standing two men who I thought worked there. They asked about my car, (86 Fiero GT) and one wanted to know if it was a Ferrari. LOL Anyways, I find out they are the DJs and the Vette belongs to one of them. We start talking, and I mention I'm buying a 92 Stealth TT with 50K on it. The Vette guy says, "Oh they don't make those anymore, right?" I give him the history lesson abridged, and then he says the reason why they stopped making them was because they had a BAD engine. I said, WHAT? "Yeah," he says, "they stopped making them because they had a bad engine just like another Dodge that is like the Stratus." I said, "The Avenger?" "No, but something like it. The Stealth is a good looking car, but make sure you find one with a good engine because a lot of them were bad." I said that I wouldn't have a problem and just laughed to myself. People can be so ignorant...
