Default WTF Is This?

Alright, so I was having braking issues. Long story short, I fixed it tonight. The car stopping pretty hard, so hard I think something fell off. I was coming to a hard stop when I hear the sound of metal hitting the ground. I got out and found this:

It's a rod with a hook at one end and threads on the other. Did this fall of my car or did I just run over it?

Well, that's where that was. I've been looking for the rest of the battery tie down. That was about the only think I could think it would have been.

LULZ

Thanks guys.
