i would check that first since its so easy to pull and look at it. if you pulled the no.1 plug wire and got sparks without affecting idle it sounds to me like the injector driver circuit is bad.
I checked it about 2 weeks ago and there were no signs of it leaking. I'll double check it though. I also have aftermarket resistors that burn up sometimes, maybe one gave out. I might also be off on my timing too, but still haven't got a chance to fix that.
