My 91 non-turbo R/T will not start and I cannot figure out why, can anyone steer me into the right direction
I pulled a couple different plugs, they have spark, and seemed to have fuel on them from trying to start it...It started one day, and then nothing the next??? It cranks fine, but does not seem like there is any amount of effort to fire, no sputtering or anything. thanks for your help in advance ![]() |

Hmm... If you're cranking, getting fuel, and spark, and sometimes starting and sometimes not, then I have to suggest popping open the ECU and checking the caps. These sound like symptoms I had when mine were toast. It's pretty easy to check too.

Behind the shifter, under the radio. It's held in by 3 12mm (10mm?) bolts and will have 3 harnesses plugged into it. Remove the carpet on both sides of the center console to do it. Once you've done it once you can literally pull the thing in 5 minutes.
Stealth 316 - ECM Removal Since you're a 91, if the caps haven't been replaced yet they need to be. Even if they aren't leaking. |

Check for spark,fuel and compression(timing)
If ok, go for ECU
